I really dont know how to work this so hopefully I can see if anyone replies.

My surgery is scheduled for April 5th and im struggling with my 2 week liquid diet.

The shakes are gross. I can't switch brands yet because I paid 110 dollars for these so ive been holding my nose and chugging. I know I can't do that after surgery and hopefully ill find a shake I can tolerate. Anyway im 286 now I started at 305 my goal is 150. I have pcos high blood pressure and a few other problems which are the main reasons im doing this. I appreciate positive energy prayers and any tips I can get.

You can mix crystal light or diet snapple with unflavored Protein Powder and make them into ice pops

Ive come so far I dont want to give up but the protein is killing me

I've tried several brands of protein shakes and I've come to the conclusion that they all taste yucky when they're made with water instead of milk. However, there is one from GNC called "Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60" that I think is my favorite. To me it tastes incredible when made with water (I've let others try it and they agree). It's a little pricey but might be worth a try. They let me sample some at the GNC where I bought it.

I also had issues drinking the protien shakes pre op they made me so sick but I got through it and it was worth it. I will be 3 weeks post op Wednesday and I am down 39 lbs , starting weight Was 328lbs my goal is also 150lbs

I also have pcos which I'm hoping my symptoms will lesson or go away all together after I lose tho weight. I also had high blood pressure pre op and now it's all okay and I no longer have to take medication for it

I like the Syntax Nectars too. I get them at Nashua Nutrition (available online). They sell single serving packs so you can try different flavors to find what you like. I like the chocolate truffle or the double stuffed (Oreo) mixed with 1 cup of milk. You can mix one scoop with 8-16 oz of either milk or water. I've also mixed it with plain yogurt (1/4 scoop of a fruit flavor to 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt), and I add the unflavored one to strawberry smoothies.

I loved the glucerna vanilla. To me it tasted like vanilla cake with icing. Its 15 g protein and 180 cals. I drank it for 12 days and never got tired of it. I also drank strawberry slimfast and chocolate glucerna

I talked to my nutritionist and she told me to try making the shakes in the blender with ice and also said I can have a piece of meat a day which sounds so good right now dont know how much it can change the taste by using ice and a blender but at this point I have nothing to lose.
