Water and Heartburn

some times I get heartburn after drinking water. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you stop it from happening?

I do from day 1, I avoid plain water and add flavor to it. Or drink tea

me too. get it first thing in the am with even a sip of water. Have to take my pills first thing when i get up before anything else.

OMG yes. I take Prevacid when I first get up with some water and I get the worst heart burn but it goes away after a few minutes.

I am over 4 months out now and I did have problems with water in the beginning. I could only drink crystal light, powerade zero and stuff like that but at some point I tried drinking water with spearmint gum in my mouth and that really made it go down easier. (no idea why but hey it worked) I can now drink plain water with no problems and it is actually all I drink these days, no more sweet drinks for me! ;-) I know it is really annoying but hopefully someday you will be able to drink water like normal again! ;-)
