PEOPLE WHO ONLY DID 3 day liquid pre op diet

Recommended Posts

Omg. You truly just didn't day that to her. Just because she doesn't have a ridiculously high bmi to feel fat doesn't mean she needs mental help. It actually means shes pretty smart! shes in tune with her body and is aware she needs help. Not kidding herself and allowing herself to get to an even dangerously high bmi. According to DOCTORS charts she falls in the obese column and is at risk for future health problems. How is it that you feel people like yourself who let your bmi get way too out of hand didn't need mental help but this girl does ???? Clearly sounds like jealousy to me.

I was ignoring that pathetic cheap shot ... We all obv have some underlying issues or we wouldn't be on here - I would of thought the "smaller" of us would of had less issues lol

FINAL NOTE- I want to do this to be healthier & happier ... I haven't seen 1 SINGLE COMMENT of "I wish I never did the surgery" I've exhausted all other avenues and want to use this tool I have available to me as all of you had...

Why did u let yourself get so huge big frank?

My goal was simple really. I was conducting an experiment on how much a human being could possibly eat and drink before they split open and spilled all over the ground. I failed. I then figured, ah, the hell with it and decided to go back the other way.

Forget that answer above. Actually what really happened is that I was kidnapped by a serial killer and he tied me up put a gun to my head and made me eat and eat and eat. He then painted "sloth" on the wall. Just before I exploded the police burst in and saved me. I was quite relieved. I then had this surgery to reverse the damage from that awful ordeal. Yeah, that was the reason.

No, no, no. Actually to be honest with you, I worked at the Twinkie factory here in Chicago. My bosses were jerks so I decided I would teach them a lesson and began eating all the Twinkies. I ate so many of them that the company subsequently went out of business, you may have heard about it on the news. Yeah, that was it.

I think so much of these comments are uncalled for and... well.... I think a lot of things right now.

But as for not seeing anyone who has regretted it? Unfortunately I've seen many in just the last week alone! I don't know why. I'm asking those people why? Because it seems to be happening a lot more lately... I don't know if its that so many people are doing it now that the number of regrets are now higher or misinformation getting out there and taken as gospel... I do not regret my surgery at all... But there are downsides to it I won't lie... But you seem to want to know only the upsides... That's your prerogative and I am not here to stop you! I was just giving information.

I find the attacks juvenile and of poor character...

Laura, to be honest with you, I have taken a light hearted approach to this thread, especially with the comments from fatties on the fatso site telling another fellow fatty how fat he is....kind of ironic and comical actually. Anyways.....the poster BigFatLoser said it best. If someone with a 30 BMI feels that pressured by this discriminating world and resorts to something this drastic, then I SERIOUSLY think she needs to seek psychiatric help. This person has issues a lot deeper then a "weight problem." The doctor is also in question since he obviously cares more about a lousy $5,700, then potentially screwing up even worse someone that already has issues. I'm just being honest.

I think it's just scary to me Frank, one of these girls was on another thread going after a fellow sleever who is at goal weight and eats healthy.

And ate normal amounts during her losing stage (around a thousand) Saying why would you get 2/3 of your stomach cut out just to eat that much!!

I know this girl must be scared because she currently has a lap band and did not lose the weight.. Nothing is perfect nothing is a miracle..

We all want the same thing at the end of the day,

Health and happiness..

It's a sad sorry state of affairs if you ask me...

Rollargrl if this helps I was at a bmi of 30.8 a little over two years ago. I just had Tummy Tuck, lypo and breast lift after losing the weight. I've never been happier. And my wonderful vsg coordinator Trish uses me when she has other patients with questions regarding having surgery with lower bmi but still in the obese category. Here is my pic. I am only 10 1/2 days post op from my tummy tuck. Life is great. Enuf said....

How long did it take you to get to goal weight? A whole month? You say you're "a Christian" but you said some pretty idiotic and immature things in this thread. Not very Christian if you ask me.

Unfortunately Frank, you are cursed with the luxury of being an American, a land where great tasting and fattening foods are abundant & cheap. A country where the vast majority of the population views being overweight as normal. So really it's pretty understandable that you see a 30.8 BMI as not being a problem. I must tell you though if you do some traveling outside the USA you will quickly understand that weight is considered a problem much sooner in other parts of the world.

I am a member on all of our sister sites & I can tell you that this is definately not a unique situation. I quickly recall a situation on the lapband board where a young lady with a BMI of 24 was banded because she felt that she needed to keep her weight down and was foreseeing bigger problems in her future. She was Australian, same basic area as New Zealand. When you live in an culture where 85% of the population has a BMI of 23 or less then 30 does tend to be perceived as a bigger problem than we see it.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
