Yes, I take 2 Prilosecs a day. I see my surgeon tomorrow & it's on my list of questions, poor guy!

Today I am really depressed. I had my very first melt down. When ppl asked if I was okay I even cried. Has anyone else been through this? Maybe it's just a bad day but I just feel horrible?? I hope it's just a phase of some sort...

Hi Dazialovely-

Each & everyday gets better....Take it slow & easy!

HUGS,

Molly

I'm impressed with everyone getting in all of their liquids and Protein so easily! I am struggling daily to do this. My surgery was the 10th and I have not gotten to my goal (or very close) at all. I'm sipping all day so I do not get dehydrated but can only get in 1-2 oz of Protein shakes a day!

Maybe I'm taking too small of sips?

I'm nowhere near close either. Don't feel bad. Your sips are probably just right.

I had my surgery on the 11th.

I got seriously dehydrated on the 10th and was sent over to the er for fluids. I was taking tiny sips because to me, thats a sip. Doc said it should be at least an oz. I am now getting in my fluids! Keep at it!!

My dr said that it should take 15 minutes or 6-8 sips to drink an oz! I've been monitoring my bathroom breaks so I hope I don't have to go back to the hospital!

Hi all! Just had my surgery done on June 10th & I need some support from others who are also going through this with me. I'm 6 days post-op - pain is subsiding but I am still getting this wierd wave of pain right below my rib cage every once in awhile but all day long. Anyone had this &/or know when/if it will subside soon?

My surgery was june 20th either and I have the exact situation..someone has an advice for this pain?

I'm looking forward for better days :) It just hit me all of a sudden of how big of a decision I made about getting my sleeve. But as I read through I see that it will get better

I know the feeling. I've cried a lot since u had my sleeve done on 6/6. It does get better. I just keep thinking that I'm one day closer to having a scrambled egg!!

These pills you guys are taking, are you crushing them or just taking them

I take mine whole- I was never told to crush anything. But I am only taking Nexium, which is a capsule, and a birth control pill which is tiny. My Vitamins are chewable.

My doc gave me a pill crusher to use & for the capsules, I'm suppose to open them up and pour into my Protein drinks. It's because they will absorb better in our sleeve instead of sliding through and won't take as much room this way. chewable vitamins are fine to chew. HOPE that helps.
