Greetings June sleeves! I had my sleeve yesterday, June 3rd! All has gone well. My surgery was in the morning and I was up walking in the early afternoon. I have only been allowed ice chips so far. I have not experienced any hunger since Sat after the bowel prep. Right now I am just thirsty. I go to Tue surgeons office later this morning for a leak check and then on to a 2 1/2 drive home.

Well, the time has come. I'm leaving for the hospital in a bit. Nervous and excited. I don't have a smart phone, so can't keep in touch while in hospital. Will keep you posted when I get home tomorrow.

Omg just got a call from the surgeon - they haven't got my clearance letters from my primary and cardiologist ..... And my surgery is tomorrow morning....really don't need the last min panic mode. Called the doctors now its sit and wait til I can call them again to follow up.....omg omg omg!! Really?

Omg..I would have been freaking ,,calling them none stop!!I hate when people dont do their damn jobs..they get paid to do it..so juat do it..good luck everything will be ok

Well all is great....surgeons office got the clearance letters and the coordinator said if I don't here back from her before 5pm it's a go....it's 622pm....so it's a go! Yee-haw!

Congratulations, I am so glad that you are doing well. How is the pain? I am a big baby when it comes to that!
