Totally normal! I burp less now. Certain food just naturally cause it ( fruits for example). I am almost 10 months post surgery, and I can still hear the funny little squishy (as my daughter described them).

OMG, burping is awesome! I had to reteach myself after surgery, it made eating/drinking so much more comfortable

I feel like something is stuck though...I wasn't burping and feeling or hearing these noises in my chest and stomach before

I hope it goes away....I feel clogged:(

I don't burp but I definitely have the gurgling sounds as I type this i'm hearing them because I drank my protein shake! LOL And i'm 22 months post-op it hasn't gone away yet for me! My husband gets a kick out of the different sounds my throat and stomach make after I eat or drink...I'm use to it now but I hate it when i'm out to eat some place not so loud or we have a potluck or a work luncheon - I barely eat because I don't want people to hear my noises.

My husband will say silly things like: hush.... your tummy is talking to me! The gurgling noises from my throat can be pretty loud lol!

Haha yeah my husband is a comedian as well - he puts his hand on my stomach and says "I know I know but i'm trying to watch the game right now!" Guuuurl he makes me laugh all the time messing with me and my noises!

Thanks then I know now its not me...

I am about 6 weeks and I have to burp all the time. It is less pronounced when I slow down. Sometimes, I have my husband pat my back to help me burp as it feels better and gets rid of the air that feels like it is blocking things.

So are you saying that I need to learn to burp like the 4 brothers I grew up with? :P
