I'm 10 months out and had one yummy taco last night for dinner. I was content

Thanks so much it just seems, I am so tight that I will hardly be able to finish one taco...my husband cooked some tonite and it ran across my mind would I ever just be able to have one!

Glad you asked this. I worry constantly about never being able to eat more than just two bites for the rest of my life. Moderation is fine, but just a couple of bites forever seems extreme to me - -not that I want to go carb crazy, but want to be reassured that I'll be able to indulge every now and then. I'm still on liquids too, but I have a follow up on the 13th and should be introducing purées after that.

I know, thats why I ask the vets! I know I may be swollen, so I wouldnt even attempt food yet, but I just want to know capacity. I hear 1/4 or 1/2 cup but I wanted to give an example of something not measured in a cup...

I'm about 8 months out and I'm pretty sure I could eat a taco at this point. Honestly there are days that I can eat so much more in one sitting than I could early on that it freaks me out. I kind of miss the days of only a couple of bites because it was impossible to overindulge at that point. It's very easy to do it now. Enjoy your restriction now and use this time to really get a handle on any head hunger issues you might have because if you have them, I promise you they will rear their ugly heads again.

Thanks, I can see that. the fact that you say you can eat so much more in one sitting futher out, I can see that...so like you say I will enjoy the two bite minimum now....

I'm 4 months out and can / have eaten one taco. Just. Another bite and I would have been *blerp*!

I will say it does feel good to be satisfied with one. I swear I could inhale them non stop with a decent supply of Dos Equis.

Lol! Those commercials always make me laugh. I guess just this early out - still in the liquid phase, it's nice to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. :)
