tummy tuck vs lower body lift

I have been presented with these options. My backside isnt bad, but I could wear fitted clothes without the skin roll after LBL

Curious how you decided to go for the LBL??? Doc said recovery isnt much worse than tummy tuck. Scar is bigger of course....

From what I've seen of the scars, both are huge, so what's a little more scar? I'm not sure what I'll end up with, but I'm definitely leaning towards LBL because it will remove more skin...and I have a lot of loose skin in my tummy area.

I went for the extended tummy tuck. It doesn't connect for 5" in the center of my back but goes all the way around otherwise. I think she did lipo of my flanks to get the best result possible in that area. I had a thigh lift at the same time. I am 12 days postop. I lost 115 lbs and that was the best surgery to address the wreckage. If I needed more help in the tush area I would have gone all the way around. I do think the recovery would be similar either way.

Good question. It's all new we would love to see some pics once your all healed up. If you don't mind sharing.

Absolutely I will - I took the 'befores' and I will retake at 2 weeks post op and then at 6 and then post. I was in no shape right after surgery to take photos!
