Thank You! Vitamin C? Would chewables work? How do you freeze egg, chicken, and the other salads? Won't it taste weird? I sure would love other low carb meals! My nutrition class is all day. :/ I guess that's a good thing! My class is March 26. The more information we have, the more ready we'll be.:)

I've read on here that Biotin helps with Hair loss. I think I'm going to add that to my daily Vitamin ritual! Have you started taking any yet? What lists did they give you to take daily? Sorry again for all the questions.

Vitamin C chewable or liquid will work. My only Concern about after surgery is the sourness of the chewable. I've started taking centrium chewable. I was told I could take a chewable flintstone if I needed. Which I may switch to because the centrium is 3 gum ball like things. As for freezing, I'm not sure how well it will work but I bought a vacuum sealer and I'm going to try it. It's worked well with other frozen meats like cooked pulled pork so I'm not sure. I'm going to try it out this weekend and let it stay frozen for a week. I will let you know how it tastes. Biotin, great I'll add it too. I'm also going to take Vitamin A not from an animal. al Academy of Sciences. The recommendations are 900 micrograms daily (3,000 IU) for men and 700 micrograms daily (2,300 IU) for women. It fights infection like Vitamin C. I was only told to take a chewable Multivitamin and then asked my nutritionist about vitamin c for healing. She said that was good to add. Ill ask about vitamin A as well. No reason to be sorry for the questions. I'm so nervous now I can't stand it.

Alright! Day after mine. Are you getting overly excited too? My pre-op diet has been getting to me horrible, but I'm pushing on through. I wish you the best with your surgery.

I have to stay in it until my surgery. Yep, I'm going nuts. My surgeon wants me to be below 50 BMI because of anesthesia complication so I have 8 lbs to go. But I was told the more I lose the better. Preparing for this surgery has me do nervous. I hate complications. Unfortunately I don't have a large support system. My parents, even for me being married and 42, don't think I need to risk my life. Their lack of support really doesn't help me. It hurts. So yeah, I'm going nuts.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
