new bandster with a question

I am getting my band December 8th. I am very excited. I am 39 years old with a 6 month old baby and a 2 year old. I am wondering about the recovery time....and holding my baby, etc. What should I expect as far as recovery time....any info will be greatly appreciated! :)

flabuless I am so jealous. My milk is dried up....and Rose really took to the bottle when she realized that she was getting so much more so fast....she had lost two pounds over the last two weeks. I am really sad....she is my last baby and I wanted to enjoy the cuddling and breast feeding longer. Oh well, as long as she is healthy most important thing.

Hey is this normal everybody.....banded five days ago, and I am hungry, and then I have this horrible sensation of something coming up from my gut and trying to escape through my chest and neck, and it is not fun!!! Am I swallowing wrong????

Hi Dawnae!! I started to feel hungry around day 4 or 5 because I was still on clear liquids. Once I could eat full liquids it wasn't as bad. I'm not sure what the sensation in your gut is...does it hurt?
