Recommended Posts

So vday is around the corner and I am super excited. I got a c new dress and heels! Last year it wasn't that exciting as I was at my highest weight.

So what is everyone doing? A lot of us will be going out for dinner! What do u plan on ordering? Wearing? Doing?

How is is different from last years! For me personally many things have changed a big one that I weight 70lbs less!!

I have plans to go to dinner and a movie, probably going to see the new Die Hard movie. No chocolates this year, but I would love a piece of jewelry. :)

I'm not getting dressed, just some jeans and a sweatshirt. The only change is less weight but the same me.

I'm planning dinner at PF Changs. I was nearly at goal last year, so I'll be celebrating a year at this size too! Hubby and I will share their Sea Bass. It's delicious. I will try one of their new mini-desserts too. Probably the chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Sweet Treat. And I will have one or two drinks. Yeah! I love life at goal. I will wear something sexy. Maybe my black sheathe dress that I got at Target for $20. I can't believe how cheap cute clothes are when you don't have to shop in the plus department! And I will wear heels because now that I'm thinner I can wear them for a couple of hours without killing my feet.

Did I mention I love life with the sleeve?

Lynda, I totally agree its so much cheaper for smaller clothing.

Pf Chang sounds so good now. I have had their mini desserts! The PB dessert is so filling , you won't be able to eat the whole thing.. Trust me!! Maybe in your previous life..

One of my favorite things are heels now- they r so much easier to wear and they look great... Makes every out look a lot better and hotter!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
