You get so much kudos for that!! (Hug) I did it!! I can't say that I didn't want to stop running, at one point I actually wondered if my app had stopped working because it felt like I'd been running foreeeever. Lol fun!! Can't wait to go again! How does it jump from 8 to 20 or whatever it is. Like. How does that EVEN make sense? Lol

Mine goes from jog 10 walk 1 jog 8 on w6d2 to jog 20 on w6d3. I guess they figure you jogged a total of 18, so 20 shouldn't be that much more difficult. W6d3 is pretty rough, but once I got through it mentally I was ready to keep going and adding minutes.

I use two different apps and I was looking at them last night. The app that I mainly use has me jogging 20 minutes on week 5 day 3, the other app has me running 20 minutes week 6 day 3. So I don't know what the differences between the two of them but I'm already on the one app so I'm going to keep going. Happy running everyone.

See that kinda thing happened to me. I was used to one app that I'd paid $4 for and then saw that this other one shoes GPS, wall pace, distance, run pace. I liked that, bought that one and it was different. Here's the one I'm using.

Amy you glow after you run. I guess I'm cheap. My apps are both free. This is what I have.

Aw. You're too sweet!

I had one I loved (5k runner free and then after two days I realized you only got to use maybe the first week and then you had to get the laid version. But I liked it so much and couldn't find a free version I liked (compared) so I bought the 10k version of that one. But then someone posts a screen shot of theirs and I wante to try that. I don't buy apps generally, but for this I did. :)

I remember thinking that exact same thing. Like WTF are they thinking? It took me a few attempts to get it. The first time I basically planned to break it up and do 2 10 minute runs with a 1 minute walk in between. Second time I ran for 15 minutes before taking the break. Third time was the charm and it was then that I started to feel like a runner. It took 3 attempts to accomplish it, but considering that I thought it was impossible, I call that a victory. You'll do it. Just gotta believe.

Good thing I'm still on week one. Because after this vacation I will be starting all over again on everything! Diet and exercise. At 10 thousand feet plus even walking up stairs gets me winded!

It sounds like everyone is doing great! Can't wait to join you again :)

I can sympathize!!! Just did my day 1, first post op jog... Denver is a lot lower in altitude than Breck and it was not easy! But it's done, the seal is broken.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
