I was practicing not eating and drinking at the same time before surgery. I thought I had it down. I'm 4 days post op and I'm eating cream soups, cream of wheat, pudding, etc. Keep forgetting those are foods! Just keep drinking!

Hello ya'll! I was sleeved on Feb. 4th so far I have done great down 26lbs(16 pre-op, 10 post) had some trouble with acid but got some meds for that and doing great. It is hard getting in 64ozs of water a day, I do about 32-40ozs. When I eat I only eat about 2ozs but still not really wanting to eat. The doc told me the only thing he wanted me to do for the next 30 days even if I couldn't do anything else was walk, drink water and no bending at the waist. Go back to work tomorrow not sure how that will go since I still get really tired but gonna try.

No bending at the waist? That's the first time I've heard that. Did he say why?

I'm a Valentines Day sleever too. I feel great! Started my two week preop diet on 1/31 at 397. I weighed 365 this morning.

Good job!! That's awesome :)

Yeah they are great until you turn from fart to shart! They will sneak up on you!

I almost suffered from a shart!!! Thankfully I decided to sit on the toilet! YIKES..... but relief is I got that stuff moving YAY

Sharts suck, but constipation is worse IMHO! Stay vigilant and don't become complacent with farts!

Feeling great. Sleeved on the 15th and back st work today. Just a lite day not busy. Did great. Actually got in more protein and fluids today. The has is still lingering though.

Its finally released its hold! I feel like I've taken a bowel cleanser. But I rather have that then the bloated pain and gas!.-

Hi all, I was sleeved on Feb 5! Im down 17lbs post op. I had a difficult time getting the liquids in too but I found warm liquids helped the most! Gas was a huge issue for the first few days so I figured out to drink water in between sips of the protein. Ginger tea helps with nausea and gas! Heating pad is a must to help with the gas too. Dont forget the gas x! Any narcotic caused me to have major nausea and almost vomit! So I have not taken any pain meds except for liquid advil. Which is an anti-inflamitory! Walking and keep moving helps move the gas. It gets better each day! Keep up the good work! Hope this helps!

Lame' date=' after my awesome experience I am at the ER with a possible incision infection.[/quote']
