watermelon sorbet

Just a question actually i found a recipe for watermelon sorbet which is really just frozen watermelon and Water blended till smooth. I was wondering in which stage would we be able to have something like this. I am craving watermelon so bad.

I would think if you can get it smooth enough you could even have it on purred. (Which just means no distinctive chunks).

If you can't get it that smooth I would say mechanical soft

Odwalla Juices sells Watermelon juice. I was able to have watermelon after my two week check up.

I would think since it's just sugar/carbs and Water, I would try to add some Protein in there to make the calories kinda worth it. But it does sure sound Yummy :}

I just had my two week check up, im on liquids one more week so she said no watermelon yet but wasnt clear about when exactly. Think illl maybe wait till like mid pureed stage to be safe.

I used to make this pre-sleeve and it is really delicious. I haven't made it since, but it might be in the area of what you are looking for . I calculated the ingredients in MFP - though it is lower in calories and fat, it is high on carbs, 60 total carbs with 30 per serving. That's quite a bit. The carbs come from the banana and the watermelon almost equally so it would seem a sorbet would be maybe less (with no banana) but still on the high end of carbs.

Watermelon Frosty (Serves 2)

• 2 1/4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  
• 1/2+ cup Water
  
• Sweetener
  
• 1 large lemon, squeezed (lime juice also works very well!)
  
• 1 frozen banana
  

Blend Pour. Garnish with frozen watermelon/rind slices. Serve! Enjoy.
