hi there all i reached my 40 pound goal, i go to the doctors tomorrow to get my surgery date, so excited and cant wait

Go Jen!! I started off on the bigger side too and in 6 months I'm down 120!!! I have 100 more to go!! Good job you can do it!!

Way to go! Congrats! Now for the next step!

my date is july 22nd, i have to start doing three shakes a day, my liver is not small enough yet. I will keep everyone posted.

Way to go Jenngottaloseit! That is fabulous news for you and congrats on the weight loss!

Jenngottaloseit did you have any underlined medical issues?

I have sleep apnea. And really bad knees and back pain. I am only 29 so luckily I haven't gotten all the co morbid things like diabetes or hypertension

I have no liver disease or anything

Have you talked to Dr.Ahuja about how long he thinks your procedure will take?

He hasn't really said and I didn't think to ask. I just keep eating less than 600 calories a day and exercising to try and lose as much as I can

Lost ten more pounds finally broke the stall

Yay you! Keep up the good work! How long was your stall?

it wasn't too long about 10-12 days or so but it seemed like months. I am pre-op still and just been working so hard to lose enough so that my liver will shrink. I am hoping it will be ok.

Keep it up.....you are doing great. The same sort of thing happens after surgery too (I'm stalled now) but I heAr that's common. Keep the faith, I'm cheering for you!

Don't give up ! ( There is always stalls time to time)

Its ALL worth it!

It will pay off in the long run : )

I am currently at 562lbs. At my biggest I was 632. On day 6 of 28-day pre-op diet which I started at 574lbs...Changes are afoot.
