Dr. Ariel Ortiz - Check list - Adivce

Hi Everyone,

If you have been sleeved by Dr. Ariel Ortiz, can you tell me what you suggest to bring. I am 15 days away from being sleeved. I am getting nervous and excited and my emotions are all over the place. Any advice or tips would be very much appreciated as well.

Look forward to hear from you!!

Tami

I haven't scheduled the surgery yet but that is the date that I am looking at. I was having some trouble with my passport that has delayed my scheduling. Then I ran into conflicts with work, ughh. So hopefully by next week I will be able to schedule. I will be traveling from Pa and my bf will be coming along with me. Where are you coming from?

I'll be there April 8th, and I am also traveling alone. It's good to know we will all be there together!!!!

Good luck to you all - and if/when you have surgery be sure to let us know how you are. I had surgery in Sept with Dr Ortiz and had a great experience. One thing I will recommend is pack light - very light. The hotel has shampoo etc so no need to bring those kinds of things. However, I know there are some of you who, no matter what, will bring everything plus some "just in case!" My mother is that way - but honestly you are not there very long, and no one cares if you are wearing the same shirt as the day before. On another thread I posted a picture of my suitcase which was a mini rolling carry on - about half the size of what most people use. I went alone but quickly met other people having surgery on the same day as me.

Wishing you all the best - and a speedy, non-eventful recovery!!

I will be there April 1st. I'll let you know how it goes!

Good luck Tami and HoosierGirl! I will be thinking about you! Please let us know how you are as soon as you feel up to it! I am planning to schedule with Dr. Ariel Ortiz for April, so I will be very interested in all the details!

Thank you soo much!!
