HELP! Which clear liquids should I buy?

I know chicken broth and I assume it needs to be low sodium but does anyone have any SPECIFIC recommendations?? Im having surgery Friday and want to order some ahead of time to have it all ready. Also what about clear protein? what kind?

I found cytosport whey to be the best tasting clear protein. I bought it at vitamin shoppe. I only needed like 6 bottles before regular protein at full liquid stage. Honestly protein isn't a huge deal for a few days, you will have enough problems staying hydrated.

My nut told me that most of her patients can't deal with the taste of clear protein the first week and to not worry about it. But my clear liquids consisted of:

-chicken broth (wonton soup was a life saver from a restaurant)

-powerade zero or gatorade zero

-crystal light

-water

Really the cytosport whey is decent, especially diluted with lots of ice. I just sipped away. Tangerine and watermelon are the best two flavors. I didn't buy the case on the shelf, just individual bottles from the refrigerated section of the store.
