Hi January Sleevers. Are any of you scheduled for the 8th like me? I am getting really nervous! I've lost 10 lbs on my pre-op diet and feel pretty good. I just cannot believe this is about to happen. I would love to talk to some others who are going to the loser's bench on Tuesday!

Also I have a cold, no fever or chest congestion....but I have a head cold. Hospital says no problem unless I have a fever. I hope thats really ok, dont want to end up with pneumonia.

I have a cold too going into tomorrow - I just called my doc to see if I could take Zyrtec tonight - got the thumbs up - so that will help me sleep also :-)! I am scared to go in with the cold - I almost always get bronchitis this time of year - that would really suck if I get that with staples!!!

I am glad to have found fellow 8th sleevers! I go in at 6am tomorrow !! My bff is coming over tonight to spend the night so she will be here with my kids in the am! I am thankful to be able to spend the evening with her, my husband and kids to keep my mind off of things!

Hi everyone. It is 9:30 am on the day of surgery, and I don't report until 12. I'm dying for water but of course I can't have it. I posted earlier about getting my period. I have some terrible cramps this morning, bad timing. I'll try to post tonight. See you on the loser's bench!

Hi all. Sleeved this AM. Very sore and tired, but all is well. Craving water like a mutha. Hope everyone else is ok!

Congrats Jeff! I had surgery at 2pm today, and I am doing great. They are letting me sip 1 oz of water, crystal lite, or isopure every 15 minutes. It is helping.

So I am sleeved!! No real pain yet by far having babies is much harder.

I cannot wait to sip water. I have a little sponge lollipop but that is just to keep my mouth moist.

I also just burped Yay me!!!

I had my sleeve yesterday and after my blood pressure dropped too low last night, they took away my iV pain med.....????

After trying some liquid, I have thrown up "really foam and a drop of blood that they said was left over from intubation. They have now given me Tylenol pills. I kept them down.....and am feeling better! I may get to go home tonight, but would prefer to go home tomorrow....what ever will be will be. Oh....they gave me crystal lite, but too sweet. I scored some propel packets from a gastric bypass patient I met in the hall who was going home. Really nice lady!
