MiDoctor Hospital (any surgeon!) 2013 Roll Call!

Recommended Posts

Thought we could do a roll call for upcoming 2013 surgeries at MiDoctor Hospital in TJ. I figured it could help us link up while we are in TJ. I am with Dr. Garcia on 1/22 and will arrive at the Marriott on 1/21. I'm going through Ready 4 a Change. Also if any past patients want to chime in, I'm sure we'd all love to hear about your progress!

Cabrera/Valenzuela, MBC, March 13th.

Arrive at marriott March 12 and I check out March 16th. I'm paying for an extra day at the hotel since I have a long flight home and I remember how miserable I was after gallbladder surgery, I figured an extra day might be nice.

I'm doing an extra night in San Diego before flying home too. I'm an east coaster and had a VERY hard time finding flights that didn't leave until after 11am, so my mom and I decided to take our time and just fly back the following morning. We are staying at the Hampton Inn and using Ready 4 A Change's corporate ID for a special rate :) there is a free shuttle to the airport for us the morning!

My date with Lopez was the 11th, but I'm having to reschedule for the week before. I haven't picked a day yet. I will probably see you there!!!

That's a great idea. I didn't even think of staying in SanDiego! I had a really hard time finding a flight for the right times (and at the right price) too. I'm flying in and out of Boston. I finally checked with Jet blue and discovered that they had EXACTLY the flights I needed and at good prices... and non-stop, so I don't have to worry about layovers.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
