Who else is waiting on approval?

Hello guys, hope you're having a fantastic week. If some of you are in my exact situation "waiting for insurance approval" lets find comfort in each other and share our story... My paper were submitted to Cigna last Wednesday 12/12/12 and yesterday the surgeons coordinator called to request a Diet History that the insurance company is asking for... I think is a good sign ... What do you think??

I was submitted March 20th. Found out today there in the middle of a peer to peer review. I should know the decision tomorrow afternoon. I am so afraid excited happy nervous all at the same time. I cried this weekend thinking about what an approval would mean to me. Just humbled and happy. Alot of emotions I know.

I'm still waiting tomorrow will be a week! Ugh

UGH it was submitted March 6, so really March 8- I called today and my clinic said it was submitted and accepted and pending approval/rejection. I called the bariatric coordinator and it wasn't submitted because I am not enrolled in their DEERS program- she said she would call my place and get my info to get me into their DEERS system so they could see my referral and get back to me. I was penciled in for my first mandatory class next week but now I guess I can forget that but it is a few hours away so I can't just get a call the morning of! I am holding out hope however...

Has anyone been denied appealed. And still denied or do they usually approve after appeal.

Omg mistypes has anyone ever been denied then appealed it ? Do they automatically approve after appeal or has any one still been denied?

How are you feeling? Anything you have learned that you wish someone would have told you? Or anything you wish you would have taken to the hospital?

I am doing great! The only things I needed at the hospital was a change of clothes to go to and from the hospital. Baby wipes phone and phone charger. I didnt need anything else. The only thing I have learned so far, was definitely everyone is different. I have had no nausea no problems with food or drinking. I was so prepared that I would hardly be able to drink and so scared of the barium for the leak test. But I handle all well. But I was prepared for it for sure!
