I've been in my room since about 1:30. I've been up walking so much as it is the only thing that really gives me relief

I was so nervous about going under and I hardly remember a thing after they slipped me the good stuff! So glad I brought my BestGalpal. She's 10 months out, an amazing support. Would be lost without her.

They've got us on the narcotic pain relifmso I'm drifting in and out. I feel fine though! No pain!

Thanks you so much for all of your wonderful thoughts! I really do believe in the power of positive thoughts . I hope everyone else who had surgery today is doing great! I'm thinking of you!

I'm home. Little uncomfortable but still no pain meds. It wasn't as bad as I imagined at all.. Loving the sleeved side of life lol

Hiya guys I'm finally able to reply. The surgery went well but the after is not so good. I have a high fever that has been ongoing since the surgery, and I have a lot of pain related to the gas. They have kept me in the hospital for an extra night and I am having trouble sleeping. Sorry for the late posting but I really have not been doing so well. Thanks everyone for your prayers. Paige

They do not know but they are guessing for the pain and stress that my body is under.

Yeah! Have been cleared for ice chips and walking.

Oh my God' date=' it is finally here.... S(sleeve)-Day! My surgery is in 3 hours. Will be leaving for the hospital in 15 minutes....

Thanks to everyone here who has answered my crazy questions, given me encouragement/advice and support. I actually have VST and all of you to thank for getting me to this day. This was the first place I came for information back in August and it was VST and it's members that gave me the courage to do this....

And a special thanks to enuf is enuf....I'm not sure what your occupation is but honey, if you are not a motivational speaker or minister, YOU SHOULD BE!! You're awesome!

So so sorry you are in pain... I hope u get better soon...

Ok I know that I have been MIA. Ok so today I feel so much better having a little trouble getting on my liquid in. I have been up and down for the past two days. I have no desire to eat anything. I don't have a scale at home because I knew I would go overboard with the weighing myself. I don't feel bad I just don't feel 100%. I am trying to keep my spirits high. Glad to be home. Glad to be in my own environment . Hope this is some help for someone.

oh honey I'm the same way this is gross and I'm surprised my family didn't throw me out but i finally took a bath today ! I'm not a 100% but I'm getting there slowly but surely its hard with the liquids to for me and I'm sorry but its been hard for me to take my pills cause your suppose to sip well I have tp take bigger then a sip or they get stuck and I get gagged ! I'm glad your doing better ! I'm thinking if we can get through these next couple of weeks its all down hill from there! I'm so sick of liquids and this is crazy but I'm ready to get onto the soft foods cause I want some mash potatoes so bad and I will make them healthy to I'm just have craved them don't know why

Ok so ! I haven't thought about food I just don't want to go back to the hospital. I have been trying to drink all that I can. I just felt a little down no one in my family has come and visit me. No one! I just don't understand every time some one needs me I am always there. This was a time that I really needed them for once. But like my fiancé said focus on me! But it does hurt! I'm going to stay strong! Can't allow other people take me from my journey. My doc told me to blend pills into my shakes. Idk if you have this problem but since surgery I have had high blood pressure. Never have I had high blood pressure! I wonder will thus stay! Did anyone else have this issue?
