I'm on my way to the hospital. This morning while getting ready I thought- I can't wait to be able to tie my shoes straight on instead of on the side.

Am I missing something? Are you all being instructed to take clean your insides out before surgery? Did yall not have to do a liquid pre op diet? My doctor didnt say anything about having to take Milk of Magnesium or colon cleanse before my surgery next friday.

I wasn't required to do it either and my surgery is tomorrow morning. Every surgeon has different requirements.

Good luck to all of you being sleeved today! I am so super excited for you all!! Don't forget to walk walk walk !!

Today is my day! In less than 8 hours I'll be sleeved.

Get out there and walk as soon as possible. It really helps. Good luck! You'll be on the loser's bench soon.

They told me to clean my abdomen with the special soap they gave me but they didn't say anything else.

They told me the Same. But it was more ro take a shower it it. The night before surgery and the day of surgery. But from your neck down and no genitals areas. Soak in for 3 minutes then rises

Same here. I'm using the leftover surgical soap to clean my incisions. We normally use dial which is antibacterial, but I'm sure that surgical soap is much better.
