Hello fellow February sleevers!

My name is Karen and I am 41. I am a Medical Assistant from Lowell' date=' MA. I'm married and have 2 wonderful children 19 & 6.

My surgery is scheduled for 2/28/13 at the Lahey Clinic.[/quote']

Good luck mine is 2/27/13 in Mexico Dr Garcia

My surgeon is Dr. Quinones. I have been in touch with several people that got their sleeve with him and they say he was very good. I am excited but at the same time nervous. I am the mother of 3, ages, 21,17 and 16, My oldest is in college and the other 2 are on the way. I just finalized my divorce in November. I'm getting a brand new lease on life. WATCH OUT NOW!!

Yes unjury is good but could be costly bc the shake container is not big - but overall pretty good and there is a really good tasting one from vitamin shoppe I will get the name of it and post "anabolic muscle"

What insurance is everyone using? For those going to Mexico' date=' what's the cost? And the procedure?[/quote']

Horizon Blue Cross/blue shield of New Jersey. My surgeons office is doing all pre authorizations.

I have Anthem' date=' my company changed in January. Im real nervous they are going to deny me.[/quote']

Bcbs - and no anthem should not deny u no worries bc anything u were pre approved for will care over

I've got an aetna ***. I'm worried about how much it's going to cost. the cost last year was 18k for the procedure. I have a 1500 deductible and I'm not sure how to ask how much it's going to cost. They haven't talked about pricing at all. I just don't want to get the surgery and figure out that they were out of network. I mean, I got the letter of approval but I'm not sure if that really means coverage. Feels a little ridiculous to be this close and not know these things.

since when is h m o a dirty word?
