My Dr has me doing liquid meals for lunch and Breakfast and a small regular meal for dinner. Has anyone had that kind of diet before surgery

I don't understand how people who doing this surgery because we are overweight can say they are not struggling with not eating. I'm really having a hard time with this 14 day liquid diet idea. I have to start mine 11/27 I just don't think I can do it. I'm losing hope here. I am scheduled for 12/11 surgery. I think it's great dont get me wrong but it just seams so easy for everyone else.
