  15. I wore jeans today that are size 16. Before surgery was at size 22. My shirt size is M from a XXL. Sleeves 12/4. 3 months and two wks post off. Haven't weighed in the last week or so but I know I am down 50 lbs....right under 200lbs! Haven't worn a 16 since high school! Felt like a was a slow loser but moving along
  16. Old navy jeans are on sale this weekend for $20. Just bought some today ....down from a 22 to 18. Surgery 12/4 - 251 now 206,
  17. It happens to me too. A nurse told me it is a combination of hormones and the way your body gets rid of toxins and fat....much like a nursing mom.
  18. My dr said it was an old rule for bypass patients. He says its no big deal.
  19. I used to until my dr told me this week not to worry about it. He said it was an old rule for bypass folks. So I drink now. The dr said that it won't hurt you.
  20. Went to my 6 wk appt this week. My doc said I have no restrictions. Stay away from soft drinks bec they are bad for you. Beer is fine just remember it is empty calories. The carbonation may make you feel gassy but it isn't going to hurt you.
  21. I will be glad to deal with that "problem". Hope it happens to me!
  22. Can someone explain the reason why you aren't supposed to drink and eat at the same time?
  23. Thanks for all the encouragement everyone. I know we all have encouraging and discouraging times. I am sure that we have all had unrealistic expectations at some point. I certainly don't need to check myself. Thank you to all those who gave helpful feedback.
  24. I am six weeks out and 25 lbs down. I am so discouraged.
  25. Get the bodyshot app. It tracks it all for you!
