  6. There is a reason they call a doctors office a "practice". Lol
  7. Can someone explain the whole gas pain in the shoulder to me? Makes absolutely no sense to me. I've seen it mentioned before. How can you get gas pain in your shoulder from abdominal surgery?
  8. Hello all. Surgery scheduled for Sept. 25. What do I tell my 3.5 and 5 year olds. I really don't think my 3.5 year old will notice anything but my 5 year old will wonder why my belly hurts and why I'm not eating anything (especially when I am encouraging her to eat her dinner!) I know she won't understand WLS but I think I might have to tell her something.
  9. Funny How they say not to have a last supper though most do. How can you not? had a cheese steak at the fair fully aware it is my last cheese steak for a long while, maybe ever and I'm okay with that. But since I only have those cheese steaks once a year at that fair, I would felt deprived if I didn't have it.
  10. Have you been to a therapist? You need to address this issue before the surgery. Surgery is not a a cure all. It is a tool that you have to learn how to use correctly or you are setting your self up for failure. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
  11. Don't think about it! It will only make matters worse! You can do it! You go girl!
  12. My bcbs pop required 6 months of continious recorded weight loss attempts. I was able to submit my ww records from six months ago. Big sigh of relief on my end! Thing that made me laugh the most was they cover wls but they don't cover a nutritionist to potentially help you avoid the surgery. Insurance companies make absolutely no sense sometimes. Best of luck. I totally understand where you are coming from on the impatience end. Good luck and welcome to the board!
