  1. Hello, I would love to be buddies with you guys. I had my surgery on Feb20th and I have lost 103 pounds. I but I'm scarred at the same time. I feel like I need to stop losing weight now and I'm still losing about 4 pounds a week. My BMI is 23.65 and I so freaking happy about this I NEVER in a million years did I think I would be on the weight scale. I try to talk to my family and they say you should be happy. I am but I don't want too look sick. I spoke with my rotor and we have upped my calories to 1200 already. Never thought that this was going to happen that soon....lol have any of you went throw any of this. Sorry my name is Melanie and I'm married and have a beautiful daughter named Shania. That is 10 years old. I have been struggling with my weight since I was diagnosed with MS. That was 8 years ago. And I stopped smoking about a year and a half ago. Im really new at all this, meaning this web site so please excuse me if I'm coming off to strong....lol
  2. I had my sleeve done on Feb 20th of this year. I have lost 101 pounds. My stomach is very picky. I used to eat all the pasta and cream sauces and bugers and pizzas. Now I still want it from time to time. But I can't handle it. I feel like some one is punching my gut!! I think its the fat. If I could eat a slice of pizza or taco once or even twice a month I think there's nothing wrong with that. The other thing that I do is I really try not to eat after 5;30pm.... it's just something that I have drilled in my head and it makes a major difference for me and aswell as my family. Best of luck
  3. Hello, I was sleeved On Feb 20th /12 and it took me about 3 weeks before I could even drink 60 onces aday. My doctor told me just to keep trying. I was sore for awhile aswell. Do to all the gas they pumped inside me. I was told not to chew any GUM, cus it cause more gas at that time. Needed to wait for like a month, witch was hard for myself cus I was a smoker!! It well get a lot better, all I can say is keep walking it does help. When I was in the hosptail the nurses would drive me crazy with all that walking, But it helped me alot getting the gases out of my system. and my chest didn't feel like it was about to crack open, It will all work out. Good luck
