Just found out my insurance is changing 2013. And now WLS will not be covered at all!!! And my surgery was going to happen Jan/Feb. I sure hope I can have this WLS still since I started earlier this year 2012. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I will call my case manager at the insurance company on Monday. #stressing

I was so depressed, sad, angry, stressed in a nut shell. I don't know what I would of done if it did not work out.

so I called the office to speak with the insurance lady at Drs office. Dr said since insurance will pay he is pushing it back to Jan or Feb...grrr BUT it is my own fault for smoking I have been 8 weeks clean....YAY

How did he know u was smoking?

they do blood test as a routine when you have 1st surgeon appt.

My last of the classes are done now its the waiting game for approval with the insurance co.

I am so glad that was straightened out. That would have been so awful if wls was no longer covered.

My complex case manager called (she has been very helpful) and said the medical director said the sleeve is not covered!? Wtf is going on?!
