  3. i agree. definitely avoid things that trigger u to smoke i could not drink alcohol at all when i first stopped because i felt like smoking and drinking went hand and hand,
  4. Awesome! Congrats. I stopped smoking in April. I just drank a lot of water. Do you have a juicer? I did a lot of juicing and smoothies to clean my system out. Basically focused on detoxing my body. I got some toothpicks that were soaked in tea tree oil from my local health food store. I sucked on them a lot. That also helped especially when I was driving. That's when i smoked the most. I am so happy for u. you can do it

  11. Hello! My name is Dacia. I am so glad that I found this website. For so long I have struggled with my weight. I'm sure on a forum such as this the story gets redundant so I won't bore you with how long I have struggled, how many diets I have been on, etc. LOL I really wanted to just introduce myself. I have been viewing this site for about a week and I must say it has been very informative. I am amazed at the support that is given here. I hope to also be able to give back as much as I have been given so far. Here is a little about me: I am 5'5 and I weigh 243lbs I am right at 40 BMI So, I am currently not trying to lose weight until I see the surgeon. I really don't know what to do with myself lately because I have been addicted to dieting for 17 years so it seems weird that I'm not trying to come up with the latest craze to lose it. Just being honest... I will be 37 in December I have High Cholesterol, but I do not take medication for it. I just found out that I have it. My dad has had 2 strokes and 3 heart attacks. I need to lose weight I don't want that to happen to me Just so everyone knows where I am at in the process: I have United Healthcare Choice Plus Insurance I have been enrolled in with the Bariatric Resource Center with my insurance provider. This is something that my job offers as an incentive to help us thru the process. I have already attended the educational forum at my local hospital I completed the health questionnaire and I received my letter today stating that I am accepted I just have to pay the $300 fee to see the doctor etc. I will be paying that and mailing off the participation agreement tomorrow. I have to do the 6 month diet with the PCP. I had my first appointment on October 19th, My doctor felt that I was an excellent candidate, My next appointment is November 19th I hope to share more soon Peace ad blessings, Dacia
