I'm in Wylie. Sleeved Oct 23, 2012. How have you progressed.

Im going in the 7th to have it done. Going to forrest park frisco. Wow 167 congrats hopefully i will get there. Im ready. Doing my preop diet

I had my surgery on November 23, 2012 in Plano at the new Victory Healthcare Center. What type of progress in terms of physical activity, sleeping on my side, driving, etc... Should I be experiencing at 6 days post op? And I didn't weigh the morning of surgery, so I can't pinpoint exactly how much weight I have lost until my 2 week post op. Anyone else have a laproscopic incision in your belly button?

I don't, they made 6 small incisions and they have pretty much gone away. The first two weeks i could sleep on anything but my side.I would sleep on the couch with my back to the couch and on my side. When i diff sleep in my bed again i woke up on my stomach and wad in alot of pain.Is funny because when i was overweighti could only sleep on my stomach and now 167lbs later i can't sleep on my stomach at all.

I started walking about a mile a day the first week and then about 2 miles after that. Now I'm at about 28 miles a week and i ride my bike about 40 miles a week.I'm 8 months out.

I assume you mean Oct. 23. If so that's when I had mine. I'm losing about .5-2 lbs per day. I sleep on my side and cannot sleep on my stomach so I guess everyone is different.

I start full liquids tomorrow. I'm excited for new flavors but also nervous about the taste, how my stomach will handle it and if I'll keep losing.

Believe me, you will not stop losing!I was dropping 12-15 pounds a week up until 3 months!I lost 110lbs the first 3 months! Now I'm losing about 2lbs week 8 months or!

Dr. Davidson. Forrest Park Plano. He's amazing. Had mine last Friday the 16th.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences! It is so difficult not knowing what to expect. Yes, surgery was 10/23/2012. Have lost 34 pounds, but seems to be slowing down. I am strictly following all of the rules, and I hope I do not stall at this point. Some foods I have added during this soft solid stage makes my stomach feel awful...don't know what to eat, so I end up back to soup.

Was DR.Davidson from Presby Dallas? He did my surgery at Forest Park Dallas.

Yep. Were you the guy that got the upper GI the same time I did? I was with my wife.
