Pain At Incision Site 4 Weeks Post Op

I'm 4 weeks out and today I started feeling some pain around one of the incision sites...only when I make a movement.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I am 8 weeks out and still, sometimes, have certain incisions that are sensitive and hurt. But I have had two previous abdominal surgeries and for me it seems totally normal.

Hi there..is it on your left side, the largest incision? I've read that that site gets more handling (your stomach remnant comes out of it) and has to be sutured more tightly to prevent a hernia, so it takes longer to heal, and may be more tender. Hang in there..I haven't been sleeved yet but I had twinges and pings for almost two months after my gallbladder surgery.

I am SO glad to read this abt your gallbladder twinges! I mean, I am sorry for your discomfort, but you just answered a question for me. I had my gall bladder out 3 weeks ago tomorrow; 7 weeks after I was sleeved. I recovered really quickly from the sleeve, no real pain after the first week. But with the gall bladder surgery, I feel like the spot near my belly button is tugging and pulling on something internally. I see my surgeon on Friday and i'll ask him about it. Its more annoying than worrisome.

Thanks!
