TamaraS, I forgot to ask, what was your surgeon's generalization?

TamaraS, I started at 333 lbs and now weigh 212. I can't seem to get back on track! I still don't eat much in one sitting but I graze all day long...and not the foods I should be eating. I am exercising which is the only reason I'm not gaining back any weight. Green: I know what you mean, I've stopped weighing in...guess I'm too scared at what I'll see! Need to get back on track.

Green & Mom: I started the protein shakes yesterday. I'll try that for a week and see how it goes. Hopefully it will kick start some kind of weight loss. Really need to see a smaller number on that scale! Good luck to both of you too.

Help! I was sleeved on Sept 24th 2012 and have been in a 2 month stall. I exercise 3-4times a week. My food choices are not always the best but I don't eat much of it. Is anybody going through the same thing? Were you able to get over the stall? What did you do? I was thinking of going back to the protein shakes for a few weeks. I have restarted to track my food on fitness pal…hopefully that will help.
  5. My surgery was also on Sept 24th 2012. I'm currently in a 2 month stall. I still have restriction but I manage to eat more often and my choices of what I ingest are not always wise! I am exercising 3 - 4 times a week. I do feel much better. I was a 5X and am now XL, I fit in a size 14 pant! Which is fantastic but I feel that I should have lost more weight at this point. Anyways, I'll be starting to track my food on fitness pal, that way I can control how many calories I'm actually eating. Hope it works.

    A bit worried :(

I eat 4 small meals + 2 snacks a day...keeps me from getting too hungry in between. Don't worry about the stalls, everyone has them along the way. Just keep doing what you're doing. Good luck!

I am also having the same problem. I'm snacking very often...can't seem to stop myself. I've only lost 2 lbs since May. This sucks, guess I'll have to reign it in!

Congrats Green! 4 lbs to go...how amazing is that? Can't wait to get there. Jenn and Parker,I too love to shop but I'm still in the plus size store, but on the lower end 16 - 18 which makes me happy. I don't know if this is happening to the rest of you but, I now enjoy going out for dinner or a movie and even parties! I feel like I'm enjoying my life. no more staying indoors!

Congrats to all!!!!!! I can definitely get around easier...I seem to have more bounce to my step! Guess losing 90 lbs can do that. I've been doing a lot of aqua fitness, aqua jogging and aqua spinning...they're great no stress on ankles and knees.

Hi everyone, I too have been able to eat a lot more lately. I don't know what it is, but I'm always hungry!!! Hope it's just a phase I'm going through...if not, then that can be really scary!

Low bmi , slow loser ?

You have to remember that the higher the BMI the higher the weight, so it would make sense that someone who has a lot to lose will lose it faster that those who have less and therefore lower BMI.

Why is it that the boobs are the first things to go???? I'm not there yet, but I can't wait for someone to call me tinny! I was also shopping yesterday and picked out some clothes to try on, and I was looking at the clothes and thinking "I'll never fit it to these...they're way too small". Once in the fitting room I realized that everything I had chosen was way too big and I couldn't believe it. So you are right, I too see myself at my pre op weight...it's weird! Anyway congrats on your amazing weight loss Ms Tinny!

I sometimes have the same problem but not as bad as yours... I can go 2 or 3 days. Are you drinking enough water? My dr told me that fluids help relieve constipation. Good luck

You'll get there, it may take some time...but the great thing about the sleeve is that you know that sooner or later you will reach your goal! Congrats on your weight loss. Don't you love the sleeve?
