  1. Congrats to everyone for their weight loss...can you believe it! It seems surreal to me. i'm not afraid to get on the scale, even if I'm up a lb or 2, I know it will eventually go down...how great is that! I love my sleeve!!!!!!
  2. I know, the pain is awful! Weight loss does have a lot to do with gallstone attacks.
  3. Ibehere, in 9 or 10 months I'll be bald! Let's hope it stops sooner rather than later. I've also been taking my vitamins, but I'm still shedding!
  4. Yes, I had the same symptoms as you, only I had mine removed before the surgery.
  5. Thanks Catracks, I'm just freaking out a little... I'm pulling clumps of it out in the shower! Knowing that most people who have had vls experience some kind of hair loss is comforting. Can't wait for it to start growing back!
  6. Greenfamily, I was on a liquid diet for 4 weeks before surgery, and I do have significant hair loss. Oops! Just realized that I posted this already!
  7. I was on a liquid diet for 4 weeks before surgery. I also have lots of hair loss.
  8. Jenn- If my hair loss continues for another 5 months, I'll be bald! Has yours slowed any?
  9. kparker- I'm the same way...I often forget to take my vitamins and I never track my protein intake. Guess you can add me to the Sleeve Slacker Club!
  10. Kparker....me too! Every time I wash it I'm afraid to look, because I know the brush will be full. I also have (had) thick hair, but now it's just becoming so thin. Hopefully it will end soon.
  11. K-Parker, has your hair loss slowed any?
  12. I had my surgery on Sept. 24th and I've recently started losing my hair(lots of hair!). Is anyone going through this? If so when does it stop? Does it stop? Help!!!!!
  13. Thanks everyone. Hopefully it will stop soon.
  14. I was sleeved in September 2012, my hair loss started slowly in December, and now in January I can say that I have lost about half of my hair. I'm afraid to wash or comb it out, it breaks my heart. My question is "when will it stop?" has anyone gone through the same thing and then had their hair grow back? I'm really worried.
  15. Congrats! Can't wait to get to onederland myself!
  16. Happy New Year everyone... all the best for 2013! Keep on losing!
  17. You look amazing...congratulations!
  18. What a difference 73 lbs make!!!! Congrats!
  19. I'm 54, and hadn't had a period in a year, now after weight loss surgery...it's back. Has anyone had this happen to them? I went to the doctors and he did an ultrasound and said everything looks normal...but I'm still worried.
  20. You look amazing! Great job!
  21. Congratulations on your successful surgery!
  22. You've lost 86 pounds....that averages out to a little over 20 pounds a month! That's amazing! You must be feeling sooooo much better, concentrate on that and don't worry the weight will come off. Keep it up.
  23. Congrats! You look awesome.
