Overwhelmed!
Give your body and especially mind time to adjust. Your thoughts about food will take time to change. You are nearing the time where every day will get better. I'm 4 mo post op and feel wonderful. Give your sleeve time to heal. Look on the boards for stories of people further along to give you hope that things get better...they do. My sleeve is the best decision I could have made for my health. Good luck to you and it will get better. Take care.

Being Sleeved tomorrow and scared!
I'm 4 months post op and wouldn't change my decision at all. I do feel restriction but can eat anything. It's a scary place to be pre op but I would do it again in a second. My high blood pressure and pre-diabetes have cleared. I'm down 43 lbs and am the smallest I've ever been as an adult. Prior to surgery I focused on my health. This is a tool that will help where not getting it ensures that our health will continue to deteriorate. Focus on the positive outcomes and you will do great. Good luck!

People's comments and frustration they can cause!
We are almost the same stats when I had surgery on 11/20:12. Now a little over 2 months later I'm 4 lbs. to Onederland. I also had am emotional roller coaster but through lots of prayer I went into surgery knowing this was my path. My thought was if I don't do it I am guaranteed a poor health with high BP, sleep apnea, and likely diabetes. With the surgery I had a great chance to live again. I am off all meds now and living again! I am so happy that I did it. Prayers being sent your way as you too go through this decision. Blessings.

Sleeved 11/20
8 days post op and continuing to feel well. Trying to get the eating thing down. Have experienced lots of head hunger and getting used to the amount of food that I can eat with my sleeve. Looks so much smaller than normal but still too much for me. Am able to get down 2 protein shakes daily which gives me a minimum of 60g protein per day. Left part of my ab is still sore, but not so much that I can't get around. I keep my binder on which gives my abs support throughout the day. Have had NSVs by trying on my preop clothes today...what a boost! Also put together collages of pictures over the last month...what a change! Good luck to all!!

Sleeved 11/20
Checking in. Sleeved 11/20 and have had no complications. I can't believe it. Surgery was at 7:30am, slept all day due to anathestisa and morphine. When I realized that the morphine contributes to dizziness, I got off that quick. Felt so much better the next day and was checked out at 4pm. Great experience so far!! Good luck all.
