Menstrual Period back after 1 year!

I'm 54, and hadn't had a period in a year, now after weight loss surgery...it's back.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

I went to the doctors and he did an ultrasound and said everything looks normal...but I'm still worried.

    I am in my 30's. I lost my period for quite some time due to my weight. Four weeks after VSG, I got my period back. I know that the weight loss definitely has something to do with hormones in women.

    I'm 27 and have only had ONE period. After VSG, like immediately after, I've had my cycle every month. I'm so happy!!!
