I never had the morphine. The nurses only came around when they felt like it. I know what your saying it sucks bad. Just remember it gets better everyday. I'm three weeks out and feel great.

My co pay is only $12. I have no deductible its 100 percent coverage. I hope I don't have to pay a bunch. They should tell us before our surgery what they will not cover.

I just received a letter from the hospital saying my surgery cost 35,000. That's no where close to what my Dr quoted. I hope my insurance pays for it all. What is the average price ?

Thanks the weight is just falling off. It would be nice to enjoy what im eating but it makes me feel better that this doesn't last forever.

I'm two weeks post op and doing well. This morning I tried egg for the first time. Only three small bites and I was ready to hurl. Will we ever he able to eat more than just a couple bites or is this reality for the ready of our lives.

I was sleeved on 2-18 the day after my birthday. One week before surgery I weighed 306. Today one week after 289. I can't believe I've lost 17 pounds in two weeks. I absolutely feel great no problems at all. Oh yeah I haven't taken the first bp pill since surgery.

I used the gas x strips and within 20 minutes I was having no trouble at all passing it. I too was miserable.

Today I've had two 20 oz bottles of isopure. That gave me 80 grams of protein. One 20 oz bottle of water one cup sugar free jello and about 3 oz of broth. I still have plenty of time to drink more.

I'm still in the hospital. I now have a collapsed lung so I may be staying another day or two.

I believe ill be goin home Wednesday. I can't get rid of this gas. I'm just drinking water I can't do the broths yet. Is that normal ?

Yep I have staples. I have been walking every couple hours but it doesn't seem to help.

Where did you guys find them ? My wife is having trouble locating them for me.
