September Was Your Progress?

Recommended Posts

Sleeved 9/10/12. So far I have lost 67ibs. Went to the doctor two weeks ago and he said that the majority of his patients loose 75-85% of their excess weight in the first year. I am at 81% in 9 months. WooHoo! Pinky Green...shopping is a whole new experience, right! :)....

Good luck to everyone!

I wasn't even talking about real shopping. I was talking about "shopping in my closet". I really haven't done much shopping yet. I have clothes that I haven't worn in 5 years since I gained weight. I did have to go buy some more panties and bras - I'll have to shop a sale for the bras next time because I am now down to a size that I can't get at Walmart - they carry 38DD and higher, but don't carry 36DD. It isn't a common size, and I was told by a bra shop that I will go down in the band before I will go down in the cup size.

I had surgery on 9/10/12 - I am pleased with my weight loss so far. I have 5 more lbs before I reach my goal. I am hopefully having my plastic surgery in July - Tummy Tuck, breast lift (implants?), and Lipo on my bra line. I am so glad that I had this surgery - it was the best decision for me personally and for my career....it is sad that we are judged on our appearances.

I'm stalled.. I've been stalled for a while and as frustrating as it is I almost wanted to just stay where I am because I'm not unhappy with my weight. I feel comfortable now but I want the number on the scale to be less...I haven't been as on top of my Protein and exercise like I should be so here I am.. Tracking and exercising once again..

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
