Drinks

Besides water (with crystal light etc.) unsweet tea and coffee, has anyone found anything else to drink? I am 3 months out and going crazy for a different taste.

I do a non fat chai tea latte every once in a while but it eats up a lot of my calories for the day. So it is a present to myself, a luxury!

I'm only 3 weeks out but I'm loving sweet tea Mio in water with a slice of lemon.

For a sweet drink: lots of Snapple Diet Iced tea, Lipton Green Tea, iced coffee + non fat milk + SF torani syrups or splendas. Even FF milk with PB2 was a yummy treat (occationally I use the SF carmel sundae syrups)

In the beginning I used to drink a lot of broth with spices- LF chicken stock w/garlic powder, onion Soups, beef consumme soups, etc...

Try the unsweetened tea at McDonald's. I find it a good drink if you sweeten it with splenda. Recently I have been flavoring my water with MIO strawberry, grape, blueberry, etc. After surgery I could not stand tap water any longer. Before surgery, I drank tap water all the time in large quantities.
