I read an article that recommended not dying your hair for 6 months to a year after surgery. OMG no way!!! I am 41 and have not had my natural drab brown now gray streaked hair natural for at least 15 years!!! I don't want to end up BALD from hair loss but I also want to keep coloring my hair.. Any suggestions? Would semi permanent be better??? Any hair stylists get the sleeve??? Should I just start saving for a wig???

Your funny with the "should I buy a wig"... high lights are usually safer because they dye just a little last the root and the chemicals don't get into the scalp as much... Depends on what color you choose and it mixes in and hides the greys ....

I just got a full foil on Tuesday. Sleeved 9/5. I hope its ok. I just thought I wanted it to look good for a little while before it starts falling out.

Dyed my hair at 4 weeks out. 8 weeks out now and it still looks great. No damage, no hair loss yet.
