Hi!

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Dr. Michael Nusbaum in Morristown/Livingston NJ? He is who I plan on using and so far his entire office staff and Dr. Nusbaum have been very nice, patient and accommodating. He hasn't rushed me out of his office to see someone else and they take the time to talk and answer your questions and concerns.

Has anyone had their surgery done by Dr. Nusbaum? I'm looking to just gain some other insight and perspectives from folks who have had him perform their surgeries. Any problems before, during or after?

The pouch was left to big so dr. Michael J. Nusbaum will fold the pouch.

Gotcha! Dr. Nusbaum takes pics of your stomach before and after (if you're ok with it). Boy my sleeve is small! Love it though. 6 months out and very pleased!

How many pounds have you lost so far?

Since surgery in April, I have lost 80, total loss is 106 since starting the process. I want about 40 more to go.

When i started the journey i was weighting 207 pounds i did the NUT guidelines and since i kept getting denied i was crazy to go this clinic for hcg shots and 500 calories a day i spent $800.00 i know i know crazy i went down to 185 pounds and that is when i gpt the approve letter. My bmi still 31 do you think the dr will cancel surgery though it was approved? I don't want this to happen. I want to finish what i started in colombia i want to be 135 pounds!

I would think if insurance approved it he would still do it as long as you are overweight. I know they do like to see u lose some on your own first to show your commitment. Good luck!

Wow your weight is low. Good luck! Dr n performed my surgery but now I see dr Paragi in west Orange for follow up care. Dr Paragi and his staff are amazing! Wish he was my original surgeon.

Hi! Well, the surgery was a success. The doc found a hernia and discover the doctor in colombia just took my money and did not do anything???? but it doesn't matter anymore. Thank God i found such a good and compassionate doctor! God bless him. By the way i have lost 10 pounds in 7 days wow!!! Happy dance.
