Are hiccups bad....possible band slippage?

It seems that since I've been banded hiccups are a much more regular occurrence now. Has this spastic motion been known to cause band slips like PB'n or other problems? Thanks-Brian

I'm a new bandster too. I don't think the hiccups cause slippage, but I have notices that I get "soft" hiccups ( not big loud ones!) when I am full. It has been my sign that I am full. I am trying to learn to anticipate that hiccup feeling to know that I have had enough to eat. This is a learning experience for all of us.

Glad to hear that, thanks! Perhaps I need to tune in to the hiccups means I'm full thing also?!lol-Brian

I was just going to say that! :) :Banane13: :Banane21: :Banane16:

Wow, I get a few mild hiccups when I am full too. That is my sign that I had better not take another bite.

On another note, I also get some pretty intense, loud, obnoxious hiccups that I never had before getting the band on a fairly regular occurance. I don't think they will hurt my band though.

I miss my loud & oboxious hiccups! Anybody around me just couldn't help but laugh at my hiccups - especially my son. But since I've been banded I have these little wimpy ones now.

The band stole my hiccups! 36_1_13.gif

I just figured my tummy was pissed off!! Ive had them with water even- now I know that is a full sensation- however my stomach was/is still growling and rumbling . Maybe just getting used to the whole thing!!

Good to know!!
