Has Anyone Had To Take Magnesium Citrate Post-Op

I've had to take laxatives, but not MC in particular.

...I did when I had another abdominal surgery a few years ago. I was in absolute agony from all the meds, and the gas. Not pleasant to drink, but it did the job

No but I take stool softeners daily because I had to "manually unclog" twice now and that is not fun.
