Oh man Territravel I'm the exact same way, I eat entirely too fast sometimes out of habit and BAM instant regret.

I am 6 months out and it is still the same. Eat too fast and regret will follow. One needs to pause before eating like Michael Jordan at the free-throw line. Visualize what you are about to do, follow through, don't lose concentration, stay in the zone. Beats "shouting Europe at the toilet.";)

"Shouting Europe" had to laugh on that one!

I'm eating slow for me, but it's not slow enough to make my sleeve happy..Guess i need a stopwatch or something..

I am 3 weeks post op today and get extremely nauseas after eating as well! I bought motion sickness oil from a marine store and when I eat and feel that way I smell some of that and it makes me feel better. And it's all natural too! Lavender, Birch stuff like that. I hope it gets better as well!

Little jealous. I was on liquids for 6 weeks, then soft for another 4. I know everyone is saying that the feeling is normal, but I never felt that way. I only got six about 3 months out when I tried bread for the first time. *knock on wood* I haven't been sick again since that one time. I did have problems with how active I was compared to my calories and would almost pass out. I still forget to eat sometimes and start getting the shakes which means get Protein and get it now for me. I would still call your doctor and makes sure nothing major is wrong. Good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
