Yeah. Well made it through the first day of the final three. I emailed w the patient coordinator and she said that if you cheat on the three day cleanse, the Dr will be able to tell when he or she opens you up. Is this true?

What kind of meds do they give you in the hospital.

@stickks she Is probably referring to the size of the liver and that has more to do with the pre op diet not the last 3 day cleanse. Actually since they are not opening up the intestines there is no way to tell, but this Dr has his reasons for making you do the 3 day cleanse. Not sure what that is cause some doc's don't require it. Really I think it is just the doc's preference.

How many incisions does Dr. Lopez make and where are they?

Only negative was American Airlines F ing up our schedule by cancelling both our departing and arriving flights. I am doing ok, just sore.

So excited to hear that your doing well. Have been anxious to hear more about you're experience. I am also booked with Dr. Lopez in PV. Please keep us updated on your progress.

We were in the hospital 2 nights. Very nice. Brush up on your spanish though. Nurses speak very little english. Im doing well, just some bloating from the surgery, and soreness. Havent been able to drink more than a few sips of Gatorade at a time without feeling full. I guess that is a good thing. We are staying two nights at the hotel, then flying back Sunday.

Was there wifi at the hospital? Wondering if my Spanish app on the iPad would come in handy.....

Yes, wifi. Kinda slow, but it does work. I dont have an ipad so I couldnt tell you on that, but google translate does work. Hand motions work good too. Its a private hospital, very nice.
