When Can I Start Soft Foods?

When did your dr have you add soft foods? My drs post op phase is 4 days clear, then 5 weeks of full liquids and soft foods. I'm so confused. I'm 15 days out of surgery. No complications. That just kind of leaves it wide open as what to try, and when. What did you do?

I had 2 days liquids' date=' then 21 days of soft foods. I am on day 8 and doing good. Kinda tired of oatmeal and eggs...lol[/quote']

So puréed eggs and runny oatmeal? Or scrambled eggs or boiled? I'm so lost, and scared of hurting myself!

Thank you for responding. I don't get many responses. Not sure if I am posting in the wrong forum or what?? Anyhow, I appreciate it.

You did actually post in the wrong place..you posted in "success stories" but that is ok

Ahh. I am on the iPhone ap. It just shows as vertical sleeve gastro. Thanks.

I have 7 days full liquids, then 7 of soft foods, then 14 of puree, then regular.

So far with liquids I've been having : Yogurt, Jello, broth, strained creamy Soups, homemade pudding

Soft foods I'm looking forward to definitely includes scrambled eggs. I think I could eat eggs for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner =p
