I am so frustrated. I called my surgeon Monday and they said they submitted everything to Horizon BC/BS for approval. I called Horizon today and they said they didnt get the paperwork from the surgeon! My surgery is just a week away and now I dont know if i will get approval in time. I called thw surgeons office back and they assured me that it was submitted. Has anyone faced this?

Yes, exact same thing happened to me. Tell your advocate to resubmit and call your insurance morning and afternoon until they get it. Things do get misplaced but in today's world people just aren't doing their jobs.
