I know...my losses this week have been slow. I'm going to up my exercise on Monday. Dr says im cleared for all exercise then

Had my surgery July 30th and I wanted to give an update. I am feeling 100% myself again....i struggled about whether i would ever feel normal again and the answer is YES! I am on soft foods and i've lost 18lbs so far. I hope everyone is doing well.

I am 6 days post op and am exhausted. The pain is just about gone, but i feel dizzy and like i have to lay down all the time. Will i ever feel normal and have energy again? When did it start coming back?

Im 4 days post op and i cant get anymore then 10g of protein in a day. And on top of that only around 20 oz of liquids total. Am i going to get sick? I know i will be able to do better when i can add protein shakes with milk, which is on Monday. I think its hard for me because i cant get use to the clear protein drinks. Ive always had a hard time with them. The chocolate protein shakes were never a problem for me so im looking foward to that. Anybody else struggling this bad with protein intake?

I agree,,,i had mine done the same day and all i can think is "why did i do this to myself?". The gas pains finally left this morning,,.but it is so hard to get my fluids in,,.i hope we see the light soon

Im so excited..i called ins company this morning and they gave me the wonderful news. I was so nervousr because my bmi is only 36. Surgery is July 30th...cant wait!

I am so frustrated. I called my surgeon Monday and they said they submitted everything to Horizon BC/BS for approval. I called Horizon today and they said they didnt get the paperwork from the surgeon! My surgery is just a week away and now I dont know if i will get approval in time. I called thw surgeons office back and they assured me that it was submitted. Has anyone faced this?

Today was my last nutrition appt..they sent everything to BC/BS ....now i wait..im super nervousr because my BMI is only 37...but i have hiatal hernia, GERD and sleep apnea..wish me luck!

Same with me...im only telling immediate famil (mom, dad, brother and sister) no body else. It is a personal choice and i would rather not deal with the negative comments or the "whys"
