Woohoo! I Have Officially Entered Twunderland!

OMGoodness! Today I won't call the scale a liar! Down 69# and officially not pegging out the scale..I thought just being weighed on a regular scale would be awesome..and it was ...but now...now we get to back that scale weight at the bottom back one notch! I feel like I have been given an award and need to do an acceptance speech!!! Thank you to my doctor at Vanderbilt..thank you to the nurses, dietitian, psychologist, lab tech, receptionist, insurance specialist, & anybody else who I have encountered, laid hands on me, or simply encouraged me to continue forward. Thank you to my hubby and family without whose constant love and continuing support, I would not be here..and thank you to you all out in VST land....during my first infancy weeks after surgery..I found comfort, support, and peace knowing it gets better with time, learned wisdom from those who went before me, and accepted the baby steps I had to take....and with each baby step I took..I knew there was a hand to hold out there and eventually I could let go and walk on my own...knowing I can always grab a hand to help steady me if I need it! Life is getting better and I will continue on my journey with all my peeps in tow..walking now on my own every step of the way!

Thank you Lissa! You were one of those hands I had to hold in my infancy stage! Thanks for helping me! As you can see..you helped me walk again and I gladly and appreciatively accept my gold played scale for all of you who are at your infancy stage, almost there, or just starting to think about your journey....it's sooo worth it!

Awesome!!! I crossed that barrier twice up and down, and was approaching it a third time when I finally said NO MORE! Keep us posted when you hit Onederland!

Congratulations!! You are doing an amazing job. It's so great to see such positivity and I'll join you in doing a happy dance.

I can't wait until I see the lower end of the scale. Thank you for sharing.

*grabs your hand makes you shuffle too!*

This is such an amazing journey that we're all on. During this process of losing our pesky pounds, we learn so much about ourselves. This is truly rewarding. So happy your doing well! Keep it up! :)

Thank you for that encouragement! As I am getting very close to scheduling surgery time. I appreciate the insight into what lies ahead. I am sure I will be looking for the hand holding and support here soon too!

Congrats to you! Awesome work - keep it up!

You go it girly! Bi was so sick of playing Rocky Top though! LoL...I graduated from UT Martin in 97 ..I visited Knoxville on various occasions for hand and such..but I was in the Marching and Concert band at Martin and yes..we played Rocky Top..I could play it in my sleep..yuk! LOL..yes we Tennessee girls need to stick together..I'm in Jackson over in West Tennessee..where are you? Are you looking to have your surgery in Knoxville or Nashville??

I don't live in Knoxville or TN anymore for that matter. My hubby's job had us transferred to WV. Fortunately, we are only about 5 hours from Knoxville so I can go back for regular visits and of course, football season! :)
