Anyone Out There That Went From Lap Band To Sleeve?

I'm pre op. I have the lap band now and I'll be getting the sleeve soon.

I'm just wondering if you still feel the same restriction as with the lap band? Any differences? Any similarities?

I hate feeling tightness in my chest from the band being at the top of my stomach and bottom of esaphagous and constantly throwing up and feeling the food go down.

Anyone out there that went from lap band to sleeve? Please share! Any information and suggestions is helpful!

Go to the top of the page and go into the lap-band room and you can talk to many that have done this. Go into CHAT

I have had the lapband put in about 4 months before I converted to the sleeve. This is the BEST chioce I coudl have made and I regret not choosing it first. It gives you a more natural full feeling instead of torture. DOn't get me wrong you will feel uncomfortable after you eat too much but it's not that heart attack feeling you get with the lap band. The best thing about it is you don't have to worry about it eroding or slipping. There's basically no maintenance to keeping up and no fill appointments.
