My First Emotional Breakdown

I'm a little over 3 weeks out and just had another major break down yesterday. Before surgery, I didn't realize how much of my life revolved around food. Breakfast with my Dad, lunch with my girlfriends, dinner with my husband...I don't know if I miss the food as much as I miss the social aspect of it all. Of course I could still go, but I'm still not feeling great from surgery and it's hard to have anything other then Soup and eggs off a menu right now. I went to a Bariatric Support group last week and the ladies there assured me that it gets better. My fingers are crossed!

I had my breakdown on the 4th of July. It's not like I would have done anything anyway. It was the fact that I COULDN'T eat anything. I had my good cry, ate some sf Popsicles and got over it.

I've been such an emotional wreck lately, my husband is worried about my crying outburst. I'm pretty sure it's all par for the course, in the last few months I've given up food feasting and smoking. Who wouldn't be emotional?

I had a hard time until about 2-3 months out - now things like people eating fatty foods don't bother me. Mfunny but now I get a little grossed out at what I used to eat. Hang in there it gets so much better!
